A Day in the Life at Creative Kidz

Aligned with India's National Education Policy 2020

The NEP 2020 envisions a new era of early childhood education — one that is play-based, holistic, and multilingual. Creative Kidz doesn’t just align with this vision. We helped define what it looks like in practice.

I was skeptical about ‘fancy curriculum names’ until I saw my son actually explain photosynthesis using a story he made up. That’s when I understood — Creative Kidz doesn’t just fill their minds. They light them up.

V

Values-Based Learning

Every lesson begins with a value. Whether it’s kindness during circle time, fairness in play, or gratitude at lunch — we believe character is not taught in a textbook. It’s lived every day.

·Empathy & emotional intelligence
·Respect for diversity
·Responsibility & self-regulation

O

Outcome-Oriented Growth

We track not just what children know, but who they’re becoming. Our developmental milestones are mapped across cognitive, physical, social, and emotional domains — giving parents real visibility into progress.

·Milestone-mapped development
·Portfolio-based assessment
·Parent progress dashboards

I

International Standards

Every lesson begins with a value. Whether it’s kindness during circle time, fairness in play, or gratitude at lunch — we believe character is not taught in a textbook. It’s lived every day.

·Empathy & emotional intelligence
·Respect for diversity
·Responsibility & self-regulation

C

Child-Centered Pedagogy

No two children learn the same way, and we don’t pretend they do. Our classrooms are designed around children — their pace, their curiosity, their questions. Teachers facilitate; children lead.

·Adaptive learning paths
·Low 1:5 student-teacher ratios
·Choice-based exploration

E

Expression & Empowerment

This is the heart of UnMute — developed through 17 years of running schools and responding to real-world challenges facing children. Through the Notice-Open-Walk approach, children learn to observe, express, and support. Every day includes The UnMute Circle — a dedicated time where children practice finding and using their voice. Through art, drama, music, storytelling, and daily reflection — children learn that their thoughts matter.

·The UnMute Circle (daily expression time)
·Creative arts integration
·Public speaking foundations

The Learning Journey — From First Steps to School Readiness

Every milestone matters. Every age is crucial.

The Fluid Learning Method

At Creative Kidz, we practice what we call Fluid Learning — an adaptive, child-led approach where the boundaries between subjects dissolve. A story about rain becomes a science lesson about clouds, a math activity counting drops, an art project painting storms, and a music session listening to thunder. Children don’t experience ‘subjects.’ They experience wonder — and we weave learning into every moment of it.

This approach, inspired by the project-based methods of Reggio Emilia and the thematic integration of Finland’s education model, ensures that learning is always contextual, always joyful, and always meaningful.
